Trip to KL Day 2, March 17, 2009

KL is great and never fail to disappoint me. This is another city that I could settle in easily. But the only concern now is how notorious the place is and the HIGH number of crime rates. It was just 18 months ago when I used to live in the city. But now, I keep getting stories about how people were mugged, robbed and houses broken into and such and worse still, even in the broad daylight! I was really terrified and I am actually hesitating to find a job and work in KL. Anyway, we headed to Assunta Hospital for a specialist's consultation for my mum and after that we headed for lunch!

Here we are at O&S Coffee shop in Paramount, PJ. This is probably the best feature about Malaysia, the number of availability of coffee shops with plenty varieties of food and very affordable prices; something you will really really miss when you go overseas. This is me, having me first prawn noodles!! Yes, finally seeing some smiles after 2 hours waiting in Assunta + no breakfast + and now food!

After steaming in the coffee shop (mind you, the weather is super hot in Malaysia and the coffee shops are usually non air-conditioned which explains why people tend to hang out in the massive shopping malls scattered all over PJ and KL) we headed to one of my local shopping mall- One Utama. I was searching for a digital SLR and my little sister decided she needed a break and here we are in A&W for root beer floats.
